Here’s a lovely duet, with the opening and second stanzas by Lata Mangeshkar and the third stanza by Mohammed Rafi.
from Man Ki Aankhen(1970).
Sahir Ludhianvi wrote the lyrics and the music was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

This song was shot at the ruins of the 8th century CE Martand Sun Temple 8 km. from Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir.
The temple was ransacked and destroyed in the early 15th century CE by islamic sultan Sikandar But-shikan (Alexander idol-destroyer), after standing 700 years.
The song is picturized on Waheeda Rehman in a sweet and simple white saree with green sparse floral motifs.
The haunting flute, a lovelorn maiden’s appeal to her lover to return.
His memories trouble her and gazing upon the shattered ruins of the sun temple, she worries that the nest of her dreams not shatter.
Aspirations have started to wither, all bright scenarios have dimmed
How will I live depending on sadness? My tormented glances call out to you. (My) heartbeat calls out (to you).
Do come (soon), darling, my heart has departed, hope my life does not also leave!
O one that is leaving, do return, your memories trouble (me).
Of course, Dharmendra shows up to affirm his devotion, in the third stanza.
